Early and personal life
Vettel was born in Heppenheim, West Germany in July 1987. Vettel suggested in an interview that he was terrible at school; he also mentioned that his childhood heroes were "The three Michaels", who were Michael Schumacher, Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan. He stated that he wanted to be a singer like Michael Jackson but realised that he couldn't as he didn't have the voice.[3] He has one younger brother, Fabian and two older sisters Melanie and Stefanie. Vettel lives in Switzerland amongst other racing drivers and is a fan of German football team Eintracht Frankfurt. He is currently in a relationship with Hanna Prater, the two having known each other since school, but only beginning a relationship three years ago.[4]
Early life
Andy Murray was born to Willie and Judy in Glasgow, Scotland.[8][9] His maternal grandfather,Roy Erskine, was a professional footballer who played reserve team matches for Hibernian and in the Scottish Football League for Stirling Albion and Cowdenbeath.[10][11][12][13] Murray's brother, Jamie, is also a professional tennis player, playing on the doubles circuit.[14] Murray was born with a bipartite patella, where the kneecap remains as two separate bones instead of fusing together in early childhood.[15] He was diagnosed at the age of 16 and had to stop playing tennis for six months. Murray is seen frequently to hold his knee due to the pain caused by the condition, but manages it through a number of different approaches.[16] But Murray has been known to pull out of events because of the condition.[17]
Following the separation of his parents when he was aged nine, Murray and Jamie lived with their father.[18] Murray later attended Dunblane High School.[19][20]
